JJ DOOM – the collaborative project of MF DOOM and producer/rapper Jneiro Jarel -- released their debut album Keys to the Kuffs last year. Now, they’ve shared a new song called “BOOKHEAD” and a video to go along with it. The video, directed by graffiti/visual artist Steve “ESPO” Powers, features DOOM himself, initially in his customary mask and then in a covering resembling a security mirror. (Powers also designed the art for JJ DOOM’s album). JJ DOOM have also announced a Keys to the Kuffs expanded version, the “Butter Edition”, featuring new songs and remixes from Beck, Clams Casino, Dave Sitek, and more. That’s out in digital, limited edition double disc, and triple 12” vinyl box set formats on July 8 through Lex Records. Hear tracks from it here.
