C215 Solo Show, Paris

_C215_ is one of the few people I know to be as obsessed, passionate and hyperactive in everything he does.

compo-c215 He cuts an average of a dozen new stencils per month, which is the average for most of his stencil collegues. He cuts, he paints, he photographs, he travels, he writes, he experiments, he publishes. In short, he is a character in very demanding of himself as the others, and who knows no rest. His reputation of stencil artist has essentially been built abroad over his travels and encounters and this is therefore with great emotion that I await his first Paris solo show at the Galerie Pierre Cardin on September 14th. **More after the bump!](http://prefuse.localhost/2009/09/06/c215-solo-show-paris/) After a short stay in Maastricht and an adventitious meeting with local police, C215 is working hard to organize this event which will present the best of his works. As part of the cycle of exhibitions organized by the [Studio 55](http://www.thestudio55.com/thestudio55.com/Accueil__Home.html), The Princess & the Graffiti, Clotilde Coureau (yes, the actress became Princess of Savoy, even if you do not read specialized press, everyone knows that) chose to be the godmother of C215’s show. It’s more glamorous, but the only good reason to go see this exhibition is to discover or deepen an artistic world where Xacto is the only king. **[From 14 to 30 September 2009 @ Studio 55**](http://www.thestudio55.com/thestudio55.com/Accueil__Home.html) **[C215 @ FLICKR
