Banksy Screening At Rough Trade East

Rough Trade East have announced they will be showing a screening of the Banksy film, Exit Through the Gift Shop to celebrate the DVD/ Blu Ray release. The screening will take place on the 8 September at 7.30pm and the tickets are limited to just 120 people.

You can buy tickets from Rough Trade in-store (East) or on-line for £3 each. Anyone buying the dvd on the evening of the showing will have the ticket price refunded.

A GOOD ARCHER

ABOVE recently finishing his 2-month long U.S.A. tour, Above starts off his European segment of the tour in the city of Essen, Germany. Above was invited to participate in “Concrete Playground” (concrete-playground.com) where he painted an interactive stencil and put a unique spin on a popular proverb.

ABOVE vs. HOLLYWOOD

ABOVE spent the last 12 days down in Los Angeles hanging my newly themed “Movie star arrow mobiles” site specifically in Hollywood where all of the movie magic is created. There were 50 of each male and female (100 arrows hung total) movie stars as the topic and face of each arrow mobile. ABOVE enjoyed giving back to Hollywood a large dose of what it is infatuated and consumed with that being movie’s and the actors that make the movies.

PaperMonster Ate That Little Boy at Vincent Michael Gallery

PaperMonster’s largest body of work under one roof opens this Friday, July 2nd with the opening reception of “PaperMonster Ate That Little Boy” at Vincent Michael Gallery in Philadelphia. PaperMonster’s latest solo show continues to explore the ferocity and complexity of women’s facial expressions while creating wonderful stories inside of each portrait through intricate collage work. This solo show will have everything from works on canvas, wood, and a massive wall mural created for the exhibition over 12 feet tall. Exhibition: The Monster Within

Buff Monster curated a group show! He got roughly 50 super awesome artists to reinterpret his 3-inch toys. There are some really amazing pieces in the show! The show opens Saturday, July 10th, 6:30-10pm at Giant Robot 2, Los Angeles. I also shot all the pieces in the show and created a full color 18×24” poster that will be available at the show.
